An experimental ale - trying out new malts and hops to produce a full bodied amber ale with hints of nuts and spice and a subtle hoppy finish that will re-appear at Christmas under a new name!

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden amber with a sizeable off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is a mix of traditional and floral hops. In the mouth autumn fruits are the initial flavour alongside traces of pine. Traditional hops and marmalade come through fairly quickly also, plus some underlying malts. Later still there are hints of ginger and mango leading to a slightly spicy finish. This is a decent strong bitter.
