Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small beige head. The aroma has roasted malts and treacle. In the mouth treacle and parking are immediately to the fore along with hints of liquorice and vanilla. After a while the roasted malts come through as well โ and thatโs when you discover the flight sweetness and syrupy texture. Finish is quite bitter. This is pretty da*n good.
