A dark and rich porter with notes of caramel, toffee, and chocolate. Taking inspiration from a classic Baltic Porter this beer is clean and crisp for a darker beer, while still delivering bold, complex flavours. Using Simcoe and Citra hops gives a piney and citrus character that balances out the body while adding a subtle hop bitterness to the beer.

Cask at Sun, Stafford. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized cream head. The aroma has roasted malts and chocolate with a hint of caramel. In the mouth it is slightly bitter with a creamy texture. Flavours of roasted malts and coffee with traces of hops, lemon and lactose. Some bitterness in the finish. Not bad at all – if a little dull.
