On tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Pours a clear amber orange color with a medium white head. A nice soft perfume and caramel nose. Bready, sweet biscuit, light citrus. Pretty smooth and solid.

Re-rate: Handpump at Gremlin. Kind of boring and one-dimensional pale ale. Very mild flavors without much hop character. I prefer the single hop version of the pale ale by a longshot. On tap at Popeye served in a shaker. Light amber color with only a bit of foam present. Strong piney aroma with a bit of papaya present. Well-balanced and not overly bitter on the palate. Tap at Popeye, Tokyo. Amber color, small white head. Nice piney, tropical fruity hop aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, tropical fruits and resin. Ok pa.

Cask, 5% on hand pump at Ushi-Tora. 700 yen for 270ml. Clear yellow gold, half cm of creamy foam. The aroma is a pleasing pine & herbal hoppiness. The mouthfeel is smooth, fairly full bodied with that nice cask fullness/smoothness to it. The taste is as the nose light pine, good herbal+flower notes, nice malt profile balancing the hops with maybe a little touch of caramel. The finish is a straight bitter one with pine-good and clean. A really nice beer.

Draft - Lemon, grass (Sorachi Ace?) hops, orange and light malts. Pale gold with a thin white head. Grassy, lemon and a bit of bitterness. Clean and crisp finish.

On tap at Ant n Bee, August 2013. Almost clear golden with a small white head. Fresh and rather hoppy with citrus, pine and some mango. Refreshing stuff in the hot weather in Tokyo.

Draft at Devil Craft during RBJG2. Hazy amber color, white head. Aroma of grass, scallions. Taste is bitter lemongrass.

Tap at Devil Craft, Tokyo. Dark yellow colour with a white head. Hoppy citric aroma. Flavour is sweat, citrus hops.

Bottled (as Oni Densetsu 10th Anniversary). Cloudy dark yellow, creamy head. Grapefruity nose. Dry and clean, fairly light bodied with vague notes of sulphur. Sweaty citric hops carry it on towards a salty finish. Quite pleasant and refreshing.
