After brewing this intense double IPA with more than 10 different hops and consistently delivering it faster than any bottled IPA on the planet, we decided to do something different with this Stone Enjoy By IPA—we took it to another level, again. Puréed tangerines were added to the batch to create a devastatingly fresh IPA with a tang of tangerine. The flavors yielded by this addition to the recipe meld beautifully with the bitterness of the hops. True to this series, Stone Enjoy By Tangerine IPA is brewed specifically NOT to last, and should be enjoyed within 37 days.
Although still very similar to our classic version of Stone Enjoy By IPA (it is the same recipe, after all), the tangerine adds a more intense citrus element to the beer. We first made this variation in 2015 as a very small batch and loved it so much that we had to find a date for it in 2016.

Bottle from Stone in Asgaya. Big juicy tangerine nose with some orange marmalade and light peach as it warms. Clean with a medium to light body. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Lots of tangerine on the palate. A bit of alcohol on the finish, but still a nice fruit IPA.
Final beer in the apartment in Asagaya. 6 years here and time to say goodbye. Greener pastures ahead for sure.

Enjoy by 10-31-16. $3.00 Bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours orange with lively carbonation and a small off-white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, orange (probably tangerine), and roasted malts. Flavor is smooth citrus, definite tangerine, some grapefruit, pine, and bready malts. Nicely done... and good at hiding the alcohol.

From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Aroma of tangerines and mandarin orange. Flavors of lush tropical fruits. A real winner.

On tap at Spacebar, pours a sunny gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is what you ordered, tangerine, oranges, perfumy, too, some light herbs, some honey sweetness. Flavor follows, more perfume here than the nose, some grass finally too, then tangerines and orange blossom. Finishes bitter and fruity. Very nice.

Moderately hazed orange with minimal white head across the top. Tangerine dominates but does not overwhelm. Solid bittering on back half offers nice support.

Draft at Smith Street Taps, Singapore. Clear orange with a white head. Aroma really shows off the tangerine, big orangey citrus, soluable vitamin C tablets and a caramel malt backbone. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Smith Street Taps, Singapore. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, big zesty tangerine citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big fresh hop bitter, orange citrus palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
