Sample from 2019 batch at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Black pour with brown around the edges, and a medium light beige head that dissipates gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, dark fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, raisin and chocolate malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and chocolate-covered raisin aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
