Sample at the Eighth State during the Beer Release - 'Actually Virtual' Adjunct Porters event on 07/18/2019. Pours a dark reddish-chestnut color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart berry, oak, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a raspberry and cherry aftertaste. Good beer all around.
