Sample at the taproom as part of Ohio Brew Week on 07/15/2019. Brown-black pour with a medium thin light beige head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, chai spice and vanilla. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, chai tea, vanilla and a bit of black licorice. The finish is sweet and mildly spiced with a vanilla and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.
