Sample at the Columbus taproom during the Platform Columbus 2-Year Anniversary Celebration on 12/29/2018. Dark brown color with a medium thick beige head that dissipates gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of smoked malt, dark chocolate and hops. Medium body with flavors of burnt malt, bittersweet chocolate and earthy hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
