Sample at the tasting room during the Bourbon Barrel Mead Tasting - Limited Hours & Bottle Sales on 12/15/2018. Clear dark golden color with a minimal white head that disappears quickly, and sparse legs on the glass. Aroma of caramel, honey and apple. Medium body with flavors of sweet honey and caramel and green apple. The finish is caramel and mildly tart apple. Above average overall.
