Sample at the taproom. Black pour with some brown around the edges, and a medium thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, fruit and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of charred malt, ripe fruit and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is roasty and fruity with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
