Sample at the brewpub. Clear orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Roasted malt, coffee and vanilla in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted coffee, charred malt, vanilla and a touch of hops. The finish is sweet with a mild coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
