Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a brown-black color with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Sticky rings of lace. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, milk chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
