Sample at the taproom. Cloudy purplish-maroon color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of sweet-tart fruits, herbal yeast and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of blackcurrant, mildly funky yeast and sourdough bread. The finish is tart with a blackcurrant and citrus aftertaste. Good beer all around.
