Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear dark amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, sweet caramel and slight earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
