Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. Brown-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Chocolate, malt and coconut in the nose. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, toasted coconut and a bit of vanilla coffee. The finish is chocolatey with a coconut aftertaste. Captures the essence of the cake pretty well, and a pretty good beer all around.
