Sample at the taproom during the "Bottle Release - Name Your Own Beer" event on 03/24/2017. Brown-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and spice. Light to medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, ginger and coffee. The finish is roasty and slightly spicy with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
