Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes quickly to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, and a bit of chocolate in the background. The finish is creamy with a malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
