On draught at the Columbus brewpub. Pours black with some brown around the edges, and a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
