Sample at the tap room during the "Barrel-aged Bottle Release Party" on 01/28/2017. The beer pours a cloudy ruddy amber color with a medium frothy white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of funky yeast, oak, fruit and malt. The finish is funky with a citrus and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
