Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light to medium body with a roasty malt and coffee character and bittersweet chocolate in the background. The finish is roasted malt and chocolate. Decent overall.
