Sample at the brewpub. Dark amber-brown color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. Malt, caramel and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, mild earthy hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
