Cask sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium creamy beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Roasted coffee, malt and chocolate in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, coffee and cocoa. The finish is roasty with a mocha aftertaste. Above average overall.
