Tasty Berliner, tart as all hell yet with the slightest of raspberry sweetness to play off the bright, yeasty sourness. Pours a beautiful pink, a massive cherry blossom head foaming up and leaving tons oβ lacing. Taste is straight berry tartness, slight yeastiness underneath with a mild grainy malt undercurrent way, way behind all the berry madness. A bit one-note, but itβs a nice note, so Iβm okay with it. Perfect sparkly summer texture. Nice packaging, too.

Poured into a stange (because in reality, thatβs the proper way of drinking one of these and not a \"bowl\"), not sure why a \"bowl\" was approved on ratebeer, but anyways, I digress, hereβs the rest.
The appearance was a hazy pink to auburn color with a slight transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Messy clingy lace.
The aroma had the raspberry puree up front, tart yet sour with some light hints of sweet. Light lemon/citrus underneath. Soured wheat? Yes, itβs there, just far underneath.
The flavor briskly touched the sour and melded to the sweet and tart fairly nice through the raspberry. Tart raspberry sort of aftertaste rolling into the finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, well, I think Mikkeller did what they wanted to - a Berliner Weisse with raspberry in it. Iβd have this again and with the heat starting to come on in Vermont, this will be well worth more pours during the Summer.
