This dark brown to black beer is packed with aromas of chocolate cake, cocoa, coffee, some butter and dried fruits. Flavor is sweet-based with notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, lightly bitter coffee, and a savory touch. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can, many thanks CK! Black color with beige head. Aroma is vanilla, cocoa, chocolate, light roast. Taste is cocoa, chocolate, soy sauce, light grains. Velvety mouthfeel with medium carbonation and a long umamin aftertaste. Good, but a bit too sweet.

Opaque black colour, small steady brownish head. Toasted aroma has cocoa powder and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied. Toasted flavour is quite sweet, vanilla, sugars, coffee and cocoa. Smooth and sticky palate, hides ABV quite well. A bit too sweet for my liking but otherwise nice. Could be perhaps a bit more roasted malty (I wonder if this was different in the earlier batches).

Behäbiger, schokoladig-cremiger Beginn. Erkennbarer, nicht störender Alkohol, geringe Süße, viel Kakao. Feine Karbonisierung, trockener Hintergrund, vollmundig. Steigend alkoholisch, das Kakaoaroma bleibt intensiv. Langer anhaltender Nachgeschmack. 8/11/12/12/13/12
