Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a thin beige head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coconut. Medium body with flavors of toasted coconut, chocolate malt and a bit of coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and coconut aftertaste. Above average overall.
