Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly to a film. Sparse patches of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, dark chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
