Sample at the taproom during International Stout Day at the Phoenix on 11/07/2019. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of roasted coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roast coffee, caramel malt and mild chocolate. The finish is sweet and creamy with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
