Sample at the taproom during the Pretentious' 2nd Anniversary Party! on 10/12/2019. Clear reddish-mahogany color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of berry, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart blackberry, oak, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a blackberry aftertaste. Good beer all around.
