Sample at the taproom during the Pretentious' 2nd Anniversary Party! on 10/12/2019. Dark purplish-maroon color with a medium pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lace. Aroma of berry, bourbon and oak. Medium to full body with flavors of tart blueberry, maple bourbon, oak and mildly funky yeast. The finish is tart with a blueberry maple and bourbon aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around.
