Bottle at home, I reckong courtesy of the Hori crew? Been holding onto this for over 4 years hehe. Loads of molassess, dark dried fruits and some roast shows, not much deep malty flavours. Slightly oxidized obviously, but not painful. Fun.

0.33 l bottle @ home. Pours jet black with immediately disappearing beige head. Nose is an earthy notes-led, beautiful mixture of coffee, cocoa, chocolate, some fruits and slight warm alcohol, but none of these stand out too much. The taste follows the aroma, however a somewhat less complex way, but there's still a lot going on there: chocolate, coffee and a tad more prominent alcohol. Leaves a sweetish feeling that lasts long, has medium body (stil quite easy to drink), soft carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Simple, but of excellent quality, actually that's my idea of elegance.

Semmi hab, fekete szín. Kávés, csokis, kakaós, aszalt gyümölcsös illat. Édeskés, csokis, kakaós, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös, kissé poros ízek. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nagyon finom, kiváló egyensúllyal rendelkező sör.

Keg at Brewdog Camden (am told that one of the bar staff is Hungarian so they got some kegs). Rich fruity and malt aroma. Dark but cola brown when sar on Table. Beige head just clings to the rim. Boozy prune aroma. Medium bitter. Christmas pud. Medium bodied. Slick-creamy. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. I like a lot but it but it feels more like an English Strong Ale than an Impy Stout.

Bottle at Hopaholic, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel, burnt treacle, liqouirce, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, oily, roasty, caramel malt, liqouirce, boozy alcohol bitter palate and a lingering boozy alcoholic finish. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Pretty awesome but the alcohol was ever present. A sweeter stout with a little more vanilla / chocolate would improve this beer.
