Sample at the taproom during the One Year Anniversary Party! on 03/23/2019. Brown-black pour with a medium thin khaki head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and mild coffee. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet chocolate, roasted malt and a bit of coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
