Sample at the tap room during the "Barrel Aged Golden Sour Ale w/ Muscat Grapes Bottle Release!" on 10/05/2017. Inky black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt and dark chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky whiskey, roasted malt and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
