Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Brown-black color with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Peppery aroma with chocolate and malt in the background. Medium to full body with a smokey and spicy chili pepper character, with some dark chocolate and malt in the background. The finish is spicy with a hot pepper aftertaste. Too hot for me but decent overall.
