Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium foamy khaki head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Roasted coffee, malt and dark chocolate in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of roast malt, coffee and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
