Sample at the brewery taproom during the "Skeleton Red Rye IPA Taproom Release" on 07/28/2017. Dark amber color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of dark fruit, roast malt and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit, yeast and earthy hops. The finish is slightly syrupy with a yeast and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
