Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium creamy tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Partial rings of lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some cocoa in the background. The finish is sweet and roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
