Clear and golden with a small bubbly/frothy white head and some light cereal and fruit on the nose. Light bodied, fresh with some light fruity (grape) notes, very mellow earthy/citrus bitterness and a dry bittersweet finish

Cask at Wellington, Brum. Aroma is malty with light fruit/citrus. Clear light gold. Thin frothy foamy white head. Initial spice, followed by citrus sourness. Damp malty edge. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Boring Gold (or is it masquerading as a Pale?).

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Clear gold with small white top. It has some apricot and biscuit notes with some light resin oiliness which effects the mouthfeel more than the flavour in truth. Its decent enough but lacks a punch.

Cask at the White Lion Inn, Bridgnorth. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus fruit, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate to light sweet light bitter with a light, slightly watery, grassy lemon lime citrus, light spicy hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Nice but somewhat light with flavours trying hard to get through.
