Sample at the taproom during Cleveland Beer Week. Dark brown color with ruby around the edges, and a medium tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Roast malt, piney hops and fruit in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, roast malt and a bit of chocolate. The finish is malty up front with a piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.
