Sample at the tap room during the "Barrel Aged Bash" on 05/13/2016. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, yeast and oak. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky vanilla, Belgian yeast, smoked malt and dark chocolate. The finish is oaky with a yeast and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
