Sample during at Daily Growler Powell during the "5th Friday $5 Fest" on 04/29/2016. Brown-black color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa, mild coffee and a touch of hops. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
