Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark amber color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Roast malt, caramel and fruit aroma. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, caramel and ripe fruit. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
