Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Foam Brewers on 06/12/2017.
Appearance: golden orange color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated then barely left any lace
Aroma: guava tart to subtle sweet tones, clean herbal whiffs of the sage, citrusy dustiness, subtle lemon and a little bit of floral
Flavor: the guava tartness seems to have opened up into more of a clean sour quality with the lemon coming on a bit stronger, sage takes more of a backseat then the finish seems to lean into the sourness of the guava with the lemon, the sage and the floral parts all there
Texture: light to medium bodied, trying to be a sipper but somehow something seems to feel like I could chug this, hmmmm....well, this is semi-smooth along the tongue as the sour to tart tones seem to be pushed back a bit
Overall: a very nicely done sour ale I would welcome again.

Sample from growler at Kurtkeller 026: Summer-tastic 01 on 06/25/2017. The beer is a slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart citrus, floral yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart guava, herbal yeast, spice and doughy malt. The finish is moderately sour with a citrus and sage aftertaste. Good beer all around.
