Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear ruddy-brown color with a thin light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, butterscotch and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
