500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber with a short-lived frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, caramel malt, slighty watery, light metallic, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear brown amber body, ring of foamy head. Nose is biscuity, grains and a bit of caramel. Taste is peppery on the way in, bitter on the way out. Decent enough.

Bottle from Aldi. Amber in colour, with a small, off-white, head. Sweetish cereal malts, with a touch of hedgerow fruit, leafy hops and a lingering bitter finish. Solid drinking.

50 cl bottle from Aldi, Bracknell. A pale amber pour with a ring of white head; stewed grain aroma with a touch of fruit; slightly bitter to start, but shortly followed by a caramel sweetness. A rather boring bitter.

Bottle from Aldi and drunk at home. Clear light brown colour lasting off white head. Biscuit malt aroma and white pepper hop. Very drinkable bitter. Excellent condition I must say for a bottled beer. I like the malty fruit and biscuit and the peppery hop finish is attractive too. Good bottled bitter.

Bottle from ASDA, Manchester. Amber with a thick frothy head. Has a light grainy-maltiness that’s evident in both aroma and taste. Not too bitter.
