Pours opaque dark purple with a dark large pink/purple head.Aroma of pure Ribena. Blackcurrant for days. Some soft clean malt behind.Flavours include blackcurrant, a reasonable acidity, a soft abrasive character, berry skins, and slight pithy bitter notes.Lovely creamy but light mouthfeel.
