Medium brown, no head. The aroma has a rich malt, lots of rye, and some lighter citrusy notes. Quite rich, lots of rye, good bitterness, light chocolate. I like this rye character, and it doesn't go overboard on any element. Nice subtle yeast character.

440mL can, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a rich caramel malt base, with brown sugar, dark dried fruits, and molasses in good cohesion. Flavour is rich and complex, with deep rye, dark dried fruits, toffee, brown sugar, and caramel malt. Rich complex malt character, without much residual sweetness and the rye adding just enough spiciness. Wonderful.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 04/02/2025). Dark brown with small beige head. Aroma of woody esters. Taste of caramel malt, light esters and dried fruits, feint wood, rye spice on the finish. Really comes together as it warms.
