Oat Breakfast Brown Ale w/ Coffee and Hazelnut - Heavy Connection was brewed in collaboration with TapRoom Beer, with respect to a square breakfast. This beer is reminiscent of that first morning cup paired with a piping hot bowl of oatmeal. Aromas rich with caramel malts and freshly brewed coffee meet a silky, present mouthfeel that belies its sessionable ABV. It's a nice beer and a beautiful exploration into modern malting techniques.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Opaque dark brown pour. Large frothy tan head. Roasted malt aroma is redolent of milk chocolate and coffee. Flavor is more of the same. Notes of coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. Really smooth and drinkable. Low ABV makes this a real tasty sessionable brew.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a transient dark tan head. Aroma of dark - dunkel/Tmavy - malt with some cereal and hints of coffee and chocolate. Med body or better. Flavor is the aroma plus some nuts. Malt veers towards dark toffee. Fairly strong coffee flavor. Struggle to dig out chocolate. Not quite dry. Mildly bitter. Overall good flavor combo.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, filmy beige head, tight ring. Coffee aroma with notes of chocolate. Coffee is prominent in the taste as well, roasty, bitter. Lasting bitterness. Very coffee forward.
