A crisp and refreshing Wheat beer with full-on fruity notes up front in the form of light, bright banana aroma accompanied by tangy orange/lemon citrus. The characteristic clove spice is also in the mix, mingling amongst a fruit cocktail that also includes tropical peach, apple and pear. Whole cone Tettnang hops offer subtle, soft floral notes and a restrained bitterness, with a helping of Munich alongside the wheat malt grist supplying a sturdy, bready, base for this well rounded beer.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lemon, lime and steel. Flavour of lemon, wheat and lime. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is more citrusy than I was expecting. I usually love Simple Thing’s beers but I think this one is just ok.

Keg at The Paisley Craft Beer Festival. Pours hazy golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee and light banana. Taste is more of the same, hint of citrus maybe. Sweet finish.
