Sample at Kraft House No. 5 during the "MadTree Brewing Tap Takeover" on 12/01/2016. Brown-black color with a medium beige head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and peppers in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate and chili pepper. The finish is malty up front with a subtle pepper aftertaste. Decent overall.

473 ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with full head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of cola and acidic roasted malts. Flavors of same with vegetal raisins, tobacco and metallic spice. Fizzy like cola. Didn’t get any of the adds.

Pours a dark brown from a can with a light tan head. Not much aroma. Flavor is a light chocolate, a little pepper. Good beer.

Can at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham
Mild dark caramel brew, a bit bready; it doesn’t taste like all the things they used in the brewing process. Ok beer

Can - Decent roast and some chocolate. Jet brown with a small beige head. Nice chocolate and roast with a bit of spice. Feel the spice, not really taste it.
